STEAMER is an independent companion app designed to display public Steam profile, library, and achievement data in a mobile-friendly dashboard.

STEAMER does not create its own hosted user accounts. It uses your public Steam profile data, optional in-app feedback submissions, and Google Play purchase status to power the app.

What data STEAMER may process

Your Steam ID
Public Steam profile information, such as display name and avatar
Your public owned-games list, playtime, and achievement progress
Optional locally saved Steam accounts when you use multi-account support
Theme preferences, watchlist entries, and cached app data stored on your device
Purchase status for STEAMER Pro as provided by Google Play Billing
Optional feedback content that you choose to send, including subject, message text, and an optional screenshot or screen recording attachment
Advertising-related identifiers and ad request data used by Google AdMob for free-tier banner ads, subject to your device and Google Play settings

How STEAMER uses this data

To sign you in with Steam and load your selected Steam account
To show your profile, library, dashboard, friends, and achievement progress
To support optional Pro features such as saved accounts, watchlists, and compare tools
To cache selected data locally on your device for faster loading
To cache selected Steam-related API responses on Cloudflare for faster loading
To send optional in-app feedback emails that you choose to submit
To serve banner ads to free-tier users and remove ads for Pro users
To verify, restore, and manage STEAMER Pro purchases through Google Play

What STEAMER does not collect directly

Steam passwords
Full Google Play payment card details
Private messages
Your email address as a required app field for feedback

Local storage

STEAMER stores cached Steam profile, game, and achievement data locally on your device using app preferences. This can include saved Steam accounts, cached dashboard summaries, library data, theme selection, watchlist data, and Pro unlock status for this device.

Signing out removes the locally stored session for that account and clears account-scoped cached app data stored on the device.

Backend services

STEAMER uses a Cloudflare Worker to proxy Steam Web API requests that require a server-side API key and to process in-app feedback delivery.

To improve performance, some Steam-related API responses may also be temporarily cached using Cloudflare Workers KV. This may include data such as Steam ID, public Steam profile details, owned games, and achievement-related response data. This caching is used only to speed up repeated requests and is not used to sell personal data.

If you send feedback through the app, STEAMER sends your subject, message, and any optional attachment through its backend so it can be delivered from and to thepetrichorgames@gmail.com. Your email app does not open during this process.

Ads and purchases

Free-tier versions of STEAMER may show Google AdMob banner ads. AdMob may use advertising-related identifiers and device data in accordance with Google's policies and your device settings.

STEAMER Pro purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. STEAMER receives purchase status information needed to unlock or restore Pro, but STEAMER does not receive your full payment card details.

Data transmission and retention

Requests between the app, Cloudflare, and Steam are sent over HTTPS. Cached data may be retained for a limited time in local app storage and in Cloudflare caches before being refreshed or expiring automatically.

Feedback messages that you choose to send may remain in the receiving Gmail inbox and sent-mail records until they are deleted by the app operator.

Your choices

You can stop using the app at any time.
You can sign out to remove locally stored account data for that account.
You can choose not to send feedback or attachments through the app.
You can upgrade to Pro to remove banner ads.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Material updates should be published at this same public URL.
